Olena Sambucci, PhD
Lena is an economist specializing in regulatory impact analyses and statistical analysis using large datasets. She holds a PhD in agricultural and resource economics from the University of California at Davis and a M.A. in international economics from the University of San Francisco. Lena concurrently holds a position as a postdoctoral scholar at UC Davis in the department of agricultural and resource economics and the Robert Mondavi Center for Wine Economics. Her research dealt with the adoption of precision farming technologies in vineyards for pest, disease, and regulatory compliance management. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on the economics of vineyard management and the structure of the wine and grape industry in the U.S.
